The Children's Protection Committee meeting has just finished. It focused on the suffering of innocent people especially children and women who are affected by the armed conflicts in Ein el Hilweh Camp. At the start of the meeting, the coordinator of the committee Mr. Ali Sallam spoke about the current psychosocial situation and wellbeing of the children and highlighted the difficulties and dangers facing them. 

The discussions focused on safety measures and methodologies for the protection of children.  All participants agreed to carry out activities to support the protection of children and to raise awareness among the community on children's rights especially the right to protection and security.
