The International Day Of Persons With Disabilities

Developmental Action without Borders / Nabaa' in partnership with Johanniter international Germany and funded by Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development has conducted an open day in the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
Where More than 400 youth with disabilities, their peers, parents, children from UNRWA schools, association in the local community and vocational training institutes have participated.
As the open day included a number of recreational activities and activities related to vocational training, as the open day aimed to enhance the participation of youth with disabilities with their young peers and the communities in which they live, as well as to enrich their integration.
The open day was an opportunity to announce compliance with Law 220/2000, which gives the right for persons with disabilities to work at 3%, and these open days will continue in the work areas of the project during December.
