With the support of our partner Palestinagrupperna i Sverige, this initiative was launched to improve the quality of work by increasing the efficiency of Nabaa’s employees and partners, empowering young people (boys and girls) to enhance their social and economic situations, boosting the leadership capacity of girls, and supporting them in making informed decisions.
It also aims to improve the educational level of girls aged 14-16 and support youth and children in raising their voices and participating in decision-making processes.
The project was carried out in the Tyre region, specifically in the Burj Al-Shamali and Al-Buss camps, and the surrounding communities of Shabriha and Jal Al-Bahr. It prioritizes those most at risk, including youth in vocational training and advocacy, women and children receiving psychological support, and girls receiving educational support. Additionally, all youth engage in a variety of social and environmental activities.
Since the project's launch, we have observed significant improvements in the lives of the beneficiaries, both during and after the implementation phase

Some of the most notable achievements include:

  • After completing the vocational training course and subsequent training period, seven young people started their own projects.
  • Mothers and girls contributed to the publication of a manual for self-support activities for women, drawing from their personal experiences.
  • Three former students are now participating as instructors in vocational training classes.
  • Young people reported increased self-confidence after participating in peer training and awareness workshops.
  • The behavior of children improved, showing greater commitment and interpersonal interaction.
  • Two young girls postponed their marriages by enrolling in a vocational training program, which led to job opportunities.
  • Ten students have entered the workforce, improving their economic situations.
  • The surrounding community responded positively to environmental initiatives, particularly the use of solar energy lighting to illuminate dark, winding paths that posed dangers for young girls and women.
