The objective of our project, "The Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS), Child Protection (CP), and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Prevention and Intervention Services Component in the Palestinian Camps and Gatherings in Lebanon", is to enhance the resilience, skills, and coping mechanisms of vulnerable women, girls, boys, and men living in targeted Palestinian camps.

With the support of our partner MAP-UK, we provide regular module-based activities through supporting cognitive, social, and motor skills development, boosting self-esteem, raise awareness about potential risks, and promote positive relationships. Additionally, we offer structured parenting modules to help parents understand the impact of distressful events and provide necessary guidance and support, with a focus on creating safe pathways for those needing further assistance.

Significant Achievements:

  • Returning Girls to School: Successfully returned three girls to their educational institutions.
  • Promoting Healthy Relationships: Fostered healthy relationships between teenage girls and their mothers.
  • Self-Protection for Girls: Empowered girls to protect themselves from dangers in their environment.
  • Advocating Against Violence: Supported girls in confidently saying "no" to any form of violence.
  • Enhanced Social Interactions: Improved children's interactions with others, promoting positive behaviors.
  • Awareness of Personal Boundaries: Educated children on understanding comforting versus inappropriate touch.
  • Clear Pathways for Seeking Help: Ensured that children know where to seek help if they are harmed.
