With the support of our strategic partner Right to Play, EQIE aims to enhance the reading, writing and life skills of students in Ein El Helwe, Rashidieh, Borj Chemali, Bus, Naher El Bared, and Baddawi Palestinian refugee camps.
Our educational project has achieved remarkable success, positively impacting both the academic and behavioral development of children in our community.
Academic Achievements
Children have shown significant improvements in reading and writing, now able to read simple texts and write sentences correctly. This progress is reflected in an average increase of 20% in academic test scores. Engaging and innovative educational activities have increased children's enthusiasm for learning, making the educational process more interactive and enjoyable. Through these activities, we have also seen a development in their critical thinking skills, enhancing their problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Behavioral Achievements
The project has also contributed to notable behavioral improvements. Children have gained self-confidence, becoming more willing to participate in class and express their ideas. Activities designed to promote cooperation and teamwork have taught children to work effectively together and communicate better with their peers. Additionally, there has been a noticeable improvement in social behaviors, with children demonstrating greater mutual respect and better conflict resolution skills.
Parental Impact
Our awareness and well-being sessions have increased parents' understanding of the importance of interactive education and its positive impact on their children's development. These sessions have provided parents with the emotional and psychological support needed to help their children overcome academic and behavioral challenges. Parents have also been equipped with the skills and tools to support their children's education at home, enhancing their involvement in the educational process.
Additional Highlights
Our learning support sessions, which use play-based methods, have significantly improved students' academic performance, as evidenced by noticeable improvements in school grades. Students have developed leadership and cooperation skills, boosting their communication abilities and social activities. Well-being and sensitization sessions have addressed various educational topics, including the importance of healthy food and integrating play-based activities at home. Mothers who have implemented these techniques have observed better educational and psychological outcomes for their children.
In our Junior Writer sessions, students have become more expressive and specific in describing things, particularly photos, showcasing an improvement in their descriptive skills. We have also successfully addressed misbehaviors in some students by using educational strategies that encourage good behavior, such as rewards, clear rules, and consistent consequences
